I realized the first day of our 5 day trek to Machu Picchu that this amazing destination was only part of the epic journey. Every day feeling like the pinnacle of the trip, every step unforgettable.
Loved the dynamic of all the moving clouds and the moon shining through the gaps every once in a while.
On our way down from Angel's Landing, we noticed a huge waterfall that wasn't there when we were hiking up earlier. We also witnessed a flood rushing down the valley, and also saw another huge waterfall from the bus on the way back to camp. Zion is already an amazing place, being there during this late summer storm made it even better.
This was my first visit to Bryce Canyon and it is an amazing place. I felt so lucky that I got to hike through this place that looks like another world.
On our way up the Angel's Landing trail, my son and I decided it was best not to summit because of the thunderstorms rolling through all day. While we were taking break and watching unprepared tourist continue up, I noticed this storm head creeping up over the canyon behind us.
