Shot in Big Sur California, February 13 &14, 2015. The zodiacal light is the faint, roughly triangular, white glow seen above the bright Venus and Mars. This was the first time I had ever witnessed the phenomenon, and also I had never seen a planet shine so bright that it reflected off the ocean. The flashes in the sky in the first clip are from car headlights reflecting off the moisture in the air. In the second clip you can see car headlights driving up the road in the lower left, and of course me all over the place shooting with my second camera.
